Our Story

Alfa Solvents Private Limited was established under the leadership of Karan Choudhary, carrying forward the legacy of Kemi Chems Private Limited. The chemical trading business founded by Bharat Choudhary over three decades ago.

Headquartered in Delhi, we import chemicals from established manufacturers in China, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Saudi Arabia, through our primary port connections at Kandla, Hazira and Nhava Sheva. Our reach extends across branch offices in Haryana, Gujarat, and Mumbai, supporting consistent supply across North and West India.

Today, Alfa Solvents supplies a focused portfolio of industrial chemicals- MEG, DEG, Styrene Monomer, Maleic Anhydride, Phthalic Anhydride, and Toluene- to manufacturers across paints and coatings, resins, textiles, adhesives, agrochemicals, and garment accessories. Our strength lies not in size, but in the consistency of our supply, the directness of our relationships, and the market knowledge we bring to every enquiry.

Founded over three decades ago as Kemi Chems Pvt. Ltd. by Mr. Bharat Choudhary, Alfa Solvents has grown into one of North India’s most trusted petrochemical distributors. One of the few traders in India to have operated at that level. Today, under the leadership of Karan Choudhary, we continue to serve 500+ industrial buyers across Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and UP.

Bharat Choudhary founded Kemi Chems Private Limited over 30 years ago, establishing one of North India’s early chemical trading networks. His decades of experience in sourcing, supplier relationships, and market navigation laid the foundation for Alfa Solvents. He continues to guide the company’s strategic direction as Chairman.

Karan Choudhary

Karan Choudhary leads Alfa Solvents’ business development, customer relationships, and import operations. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its port network, strengthened supplier relationships across Asia, and grown its presence into West India. With a hands-on approach to every account, Karan brings both market knowledge and personal accountability to each customer relationship ensuring that buyers always have a direct, informed point of contact for their requirements.
